Great location, in the heart of downtown Sonoma. Lots of tasting rooms within walking distance, close to a walking trail, across the street from the Tuesday night farmers' market with live music, food trucks, and beverages, a couple of blocks from the Friday morning farmers' market, and so much more. We had a wonderful stay at El Dorado Hotel in Sonoma and would absolutely stay here again. The hotel is charming, beautifully designed, and perfectly located right in the heart of Sonoma. It’s an easy walk to great restaurants, shops, the main plaza, and countless tasting rooms, making it the perfect base for exploring the town. Our room was lovely, with elegant, modern décor, and the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable—we slept so well. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The restaurant was another highlight of our stay. We had an amazing brunch one morning, and on another day we stopped by for appetizers, oysters, and drinks before dinner. Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend El Dorado to anyone visiting Sonoma. It’s absolutely worth it, and we can’t wait to come back!
