Fantastic staff
The staff at the Aurora were the most helpful and friendliest hotel staff I've met. I would definitely come back to this hotel for that reason alone. The hotel overlooks the Piazza Erbe, which has many restaurants and market stalls. Be warned, however, that the partying in Piazza Erbe goes on till 1AM every night, so bring some earplugs. Also, the hotel's main entrance took some finding (see picture). The location of the hotel is right in the heart of the old town, which makes exploring historic Verona very convenient. It's not far from Piazza Bra where you can catch the 163 bus to Lake Garda, and where you'll find the Roman Arena, where they perform opera. I had a lovely time in Verona.

Charming hotel in the vibrant and beautiful Piazza Delle Erbe. Everything in the historic centre within easy walking distance from the hotel. Our rooms were cleaned daily. Staff very willing to offer advice on transport etc. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice that you can have out on the lovely terrace overlooking Piazza Erbe. Plenty restaurants opposite the hotel and a pizzeria next door so no issue with eating. We would definitely stay here again.

Decor was a bit outdated, but the room was very spacious and. Amazing location. Out of this world breakfast (like home cooked at a BnB), and the terrace to eat it on while sipping cappuccino… priceless! Friendly staff… can’t say enough about Hotel Aurora!
