Hip Spot!
Great boutique hotel. Nice size room, beautiful views, and great breakfast. Friendly staff!

Very charming, I especially like the separate entrance for the hotel side compared to the lobby/restaurant side (hotel side door accesible only with room key.) Also the elevator (one of the oldest in Lisbon) is super cool while also probably being the smallest elevator I have ever been in. The bar makes really amazing drinks, food was ok (I thought my pasta was really bland but that is preference.) What really makes this hotel though is the area. Everything is in walking distance and super cool and charming. You definitely will not run out of restaurant/bar options to choose from.

Great value in a great location
Great location, view and value. Two on-site restaurants and bars. 3 minute walk in one direction to Bairro Alto snd Principe Real in the other direction. Miradour with a great view of the city across the street.

Vintage charm, friendly staff
If you love vintage furniture and old-world buildings, this is definitely the hotel for you. Entering my room felt like stepping back in time in the best way possible (high ceilings, big double windows, enormous bathroom with hidden toilet room). All the necessary modern amenities are there - TV, good air conditioner, wifi (password wasn’t posted in the room, but I found it in the lobby). There is no phone in the room, but I don’t think anyone uses the hotel phone these days anyway. The staff at check-in were young, energetic, and friendly (ask them to recommend a local restaurant, bar, boutique, and watch their faces light up!). It’s clear that they love their city and are eager to show it off to visitors. It is a small hotel which shares staff with the hostel next door, so you may have to be a little patient at times. They took the time to carry my bags and show me to my room, while explaining the layout of the hotel and offering advice on the city. This meant that whoever was trying to check in after me probably had to wait a little longer than at a large chain hotel. The rooftop breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had in Europe, and it comes with a lovely view and super friendly staff. It’s worth noting that the hotel is up a hill, and that Lisbon sidewalks are difficult to walk, so if you have any mobility issues you may want to take a cab to and from the hotel (their were plenty of taxis out front). Great hotel overall.
