Beautiful B&B in good, quiet location
We loved this place. It was perfect for our first time in Mexico City. We chose to have a room with private bathroom and our room was gorgeous, very well decorated and so comfortable. We slept really well. The staff were incredibly helpful and really kind too. Breakfast is a different Mexican dish every morning with fruit and delicious coffee and it was superb. We will definitely stay here again and recommend others to do so as well.

A true gem
Just spent 5 nights at the El Patio 77. This B&B is a true gem in Mexico City and gives you a real feel of Mexico City. El Patio 77 is in a great local neighborhood with good public transportation and great local restaurants and shops.

Gorgeous hotel
Really sweet place, one of the few boutique hotels with character I could unearth in Mexico City. We Highly recommended for frequent visitors. Giovanni was awesomely helpful and kind -- and breakfast and coffee was delicious. I wouldn't say this is necessarily a place for older people, we woke up with the noise of breakfast every morning, which wasn't really a problem, but be aware, and the toilet, though it was private in the sense it was in your room, was "open concept" meaning no ceiling, that it was not in its own fully enclosed space. And the shower, while hot, lasted about 2-3 min, not nearly enough time to wash ones hair. So I just used the shared bathroom anyway. The fan in the room was great, as was the suite set-up. After staying here, it's going to be hard to go back and have just one room for two people for the amount of time that we stayed, which was five days. However the biggest thing I struggled with in this hotel was that the bed was absolutely and totally hard as a rock. And I like a very firm bed, so this is coming from that perspective. It was like the cheapest possible IKEA platform double bed. I am SURE other rooms have better beds. I am reluctant to share this, as we really truly loved this hotel, but the bed experience was so uncomfortable I had to go sleep by myself on the much more normal futon. Again, we LOVED this hotel, it's beautiful, private, and service is top-notch. we would love to be guests there again and perhaps try another bed.
