Exceptional 10.0
Our stay here was nothing short of amazing! The staff were all so very friendly and accommodating and Matthew (the manager) was also very helpful in giving us recommendations on where to go to do extra activities. The only minor complaint I have is that their food prices seem a bit high, but I guess that’s normal for a resort; however, I would Recommend taking a taxi to the west end to experience some great jerk chicken!

Hidden Negril Gem
This is a hidden gem! Nestled between large all inclusive resorts, this special hideaway provides your own private beach. They don't offer all-inclusive, but their restaurant and bar is very affordable and they also have fresh lobster on site that is delicious. The staff is very friendly and it was awesome to just step out of the room and right onto the beach. You are close to plenty of restaurants - Kenny's Chinese was great! If I go back to Negril I will definitely choose the Boardwalk Village for my stay. It's not a 5 star hotel, but it is very clean and affordable. The grounds are very well maintained and freshened up everyday.

Nice one night stay
Just a one night stay but one well spent. Good spacious room. Internet was a little slow at times. Food was very good. Staff and customer service were exceptional

Solid hotel on beach vs the pricey all inclusives
We love the area and the staff were amazing! We definitely would stay again and liked the beachfront rooms. I would recommend this spot for sure as a great alternative to the all inclusive hotels if you would like to see the area and culture. Some honest improvements that I would mention would be the bed (never mention this in reviews but it was rock hard so maybe a mattress topper would help), pillows (only 2 on the bed and they both felt like airline pillows), a coffee maker (versus a hot water kettle), and faster Wi-Fi (this was super slow and was disappointing as most people are without cell reception) Please keep in mind this feedback is only meant to serve as some slight upgrades to an overall solid hotel on the beach in Negril. I would definitely steer others to this hotel for sure and recommend making the trip over to Xtabi and Ricks. Excited to come back again soon!
