A party hotel, not family oriented
I don’t like that they charge $20/day for valet parking or the redic resort fees that are for what exactly? To use the gym?! I didn’t like being sort of pressured by check in employee to use the self serve kiosk. Why don’t they hire more people at the front desk. I came for a vacation, not to work & check myself in, not my job! The room was nice & clean. There’s plenty of shampoo, conditioner & body wash that’s provided for you in the shower. The toilet is kinda low & the toilet paper dispenser is in an odd behind you area near the back of toilet. The bathroom door sucked! It’s a sliding door that doesn’t lock so basically people can hear you go to the bathroom. The casino is very very smokey & also is Harrah’s next door. Plenty of food choices. Guy Fierri is great & I highly recommend Buddy V’s (brunch) in the Venetian. The pool is very small & overcrowed in the summer. No place to actually swim, just stand. Not enough lounge chairs either. Get there early! Being ur ID to the pool bc they card you & check purses. Drinks are very expensive. Location of hotel is good, virtually in the center of the strip. Would I stay here again? Not my first choice but if I got a really good deal, I’d consider it. I really dislike the pool & bathroom in the rooms bc of the toilet & door. The staff overall was nice & friendly. Also, in the summer the pool is not for kids. Lots of drinking & partying going on. I don’t think kids are allowed anyhow. If you want a family hotel, this isn’t the one
