I wasn't given the chance to check in.
Right away, the owner is telling to go to the motel around the corner where there can give me a king size bed vs the queen size they had.
I did go over to check the other facility and I wouldn't even put it on a scale rating. It was Getto looking, the room that was shown to us, smelled nasty and the desk employee Disgustedly Rude & Obnoxious with his Words.
I went back to talk with the Tropic Owner ask why he wanted us to stay the Getto Motel...Well as it turns out, he give my reservation to a person that wanted to stay an additional day.
So, needless to say, I had to drive two hours home since I didn't have a place to stay the night.
It was such an inconvenience.
My reservation were made two months prior and I feel that I should have had top priority over someone who decides to add an additional night.
Tropic will not be getting any business from me in the future.
