Nice small town hotel
Nice hotel in a small town, we wanted to stay out of Dublin and visit two days with out driving. We chose this hotel as there was a bus stop right out front and only 45 minute bus ride, very convenient and cost effective. The breakfast was great but the one evening meal we had was just ok for the price. There are 4 or 5 other pubs in town and we had a very good meal at one of them. Desk clerk (Denise) very friendly and helpful.

Poor Harrys
Room Opposite was very noisy most of the evening. Breakfast was poor - rashers were like rubber - tables not cleared - no cutlery or cups or milk on tables. Poor layout ofd restatuant meant the evening entertainmantr could not be seen by most guests.

Over-priced and mediocre breakfast
Definitely over-priced at 119 euro fro B&B for 2 people. No Wi-fi in room and advice from receptionist was that I could come down to the ground floor to get a signal. Hardly satisfactory. The breakfast was brought to the table but was mediocre. Also contained only 1 rasher and 1 sausage - I'd expect more particularly as they were advertising the breakfast for 9.90 euro. No brown bed either or choice of low fat butter. I would also have expected that some newspapers would be provided to read over breakfast. I will not be returning.

Adequate for a business hotel, but nothing special
This hotel was booked as accommodation during a major agricultural show in the area. For this reason I expected a higher-than-normal price, and it was. The village is small and does not offer much to a business visitor other than the warmth of a few local pubs. The hotel is adequate but also has a tired feel and is in need of a facelift if it genuinely wanted to attract the lucrative business traveller. Irritiating not to be able to change bar and restaurant bills to the hotel account.
