8/10 Very Good

Mixed bag, leaning toward the positive
I enjoyed my stay here overall, though it was not without its weirdnesses. A very nice suite for a fine price. The tables that were either repurposed airplane wings or just made to look like same (complete with rivets EVERYWHERE) were cool-looking but of questionable practicality, and the owners really need to replace the windows - they're responsible for all the customers' complaints about noise. The windows are thin and do next to nothing to dampen outside noises; with all the windows closed you can hear people talking in normal conversational tones out on the sidewalk, and car horns will make you jump out of your skin. Sirens are plenty audible too (and the Buffalo Fire Department is directly across the street from the hotel, so you can reasonably expect to hear them during your stay). And while the place gives an overall impression of great cleanliness, I had occasion to look under the bed when I thought my credit card might have slid under there, and...yeep. Suffice it to say it's clear nobody's cleaned under the bed in some time. And the lighting situation's a little weird, with a hodgepodge of different lights, most of which are dim at best, and none of which can be reached from the bed without moving a bedside table. And the staff is scarce.
All that said, there are a lot of pluses too. It's spacious. It's comfortable (including the bed). It's pretty/up-to-date. It has a full (and I mean full) kitchen, if you have use for that. And the bed's great.
