colony hotel is in perfect location to walk to all stores/ restaurants/ bars. park your car and enjoy atlantic ave . The Cabana club is perfect as well pool/beach all conneccted included in your stay . The Colony is Nice comfortable hotel with old school ties like the gated elevator. Nice little complemtary continental breakfast with cofee avaiilable. downstairs bar/ entertainment at night is perfect for a night cap sitting on the outdoor patiio

I've stayed at the Colony Hotel many times only because of the location to Atlantic Avenue. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. The lobby is a great place to hang out and George at the bar makes the evenings fun. My only complaint is that there is no place in the hotel to buy water or get a cup of coffee or snacks. The continental breakfast closes at 10 AM and all the coffee, tea and water is removed. There are no coffee pots in the room, so a person has to leave the hotel to get anything to eat or drink. I, along with three girlfriends, were there from Monday to Thursday. We planned to spend a day at the Cabana. However, we were not informed that the Cabana restaurant is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Needless to say we were not able to take advantage of the amenities.

You can park behind the hotel which is very convenient. We enjoy the April art show which runs up and down the street in front of the hotel. It's nice to take a break after, maybe a little nap, shower, change, then dinner somewhere within walking distance. The hotel bar and lobby is a nice place to end the nite. Breakfast let's you people watch out front or in one of the comfy, colorful downstairs areas. The rooms are comfy and the staff is full of helpful dining tips. It's located right in the heart of downtown with lots of shopping and great places to eat.
