Comfortable and affordable

We were a little concerned by some of the reviews but needn't have worried. This is a classic older-style Queanbeyan motel, well kept and tidy, and we thought it was excellent value for the price. It has been upgraded for the most part but we appreciated retro features like the original 1960s bathroom floor tiles and the built-in bedside clock radio. Staff were very helpful and communicative prior to check-in, giving us a room on the upper level as requested. The motel claims to offer clean, comfortable, affordable accommodation and as far as we were concerned, it did exactly that. The communal kitchen was clean, it was quiet at night, and the beds were great. Continental breakfast was available if we had wanted it. It is a simple kind of place but, for the price we paid, we were very happy with our stay.
