I do like Topsham but unfortunately in January we were very limited to resturants being open. The lighting in the rooms in hotel is so bad. Do not know about outside rooms, but was warm and comfortable enough. Unfortunately St Austell not have standardised menus - one say the same on in Padstow last week!

Way Overpriced!
The male bar Manager was very lacking in people skills, a bit abrupt but the rest of the staff were very good, good cleaners. Way overpriced, didn’t even include a breakfast in the £120 a night room. No car parking permits either which has been useful in the past with the cost of parking nowadays. Dinner one night which was poor and again, far too expensive for the quality.

Perfect room, bathroom and location as always 😊 but some difficulty to find someone who can process both check in and out - possibly have a sign directing you to bar/restaurant etc and /or a drop key box. Also 10.30 check out very early - most hotels offer 11am at least . 😊
