Near the ferry to Skye.
It was just what we needed for a short night. Nothing special, but clean, convenient, and run by great people.

Miserable twin beds
The most uncomfortable beds on our two week trip. Thin, worn-out and noisy/squeaky mattresses made for a very restless night.

A lovely stay
Fabulous place to stay with very friendly staff and excellent food. Rooms are not fancy but very clean. Lovey dog friendly place to stay and eat.

A delightful setting but overpriced accommodation
Overpriced at GBP120 for bed and breakfast. We have paid far less for equally pleasant or better rooms with breakfast on this trip to Scotland. The bedroom and bathroom were very small and the bed was not comfortable. It needs a new mattress, possibly a new bed. The noise of running water from the bathroom next door was very audible, as was a pump in the ceiling void above our room when the water was flowing. Fortunately, guests did not shower late at night. The view from our room was delightful and there was no noise from the street. Parking was not on the premises but anywhere in the street where one could find a space. Breakfast was similar other hotels and B&Bs and our waitress, Katie, was very pleasant. Dinner was OK: entrees were best, the scallops (GBP3.00 each!) were plump and delicious, the mussels were small but a generous serving.
