This hotel was not fancy in anyway BUT it is well kept up and clean and comfortable as well as roomy. The only reason I gave a lower score on service is because the pool and hot tub hours are limited in the evening. Most people I know like to enjoy a hot tub after the sun has gone down!!

A no-frills but nice place to stay
This is an older, small, quaint place just off the main highway into Elk Rapids, MI. Our room was larger than anticipated. It had a small microwave, refrigerator, and hotel-style coffee pot. The beds were very comfortable and there was also a flat screen TV on the wall. The bathroom had only a shower, but for us, that was okay. The Inn also had beach access a 5 minute walk or a couple minutes drive down a tree lined street. One of the nicest features was the outdoor area. There were lots of trees (plenty of shade) and there were tables, chairs and BBQ pits for guests to use. The area in general was very quiet and it was nice to sit outdoors in the early evening. This is off the main access so during late afternoon there was a bit of traffic, but after it cleared, there wasn't much "car noise". We wanted close access to Elk Rapids, so this was perfect for us. The innkeeper was so very helpful and cheerful. I would definitely stay here again.
