Cha Cha Stay.
Room a little run down, hole in bathroom door, water continuously leaking from toilet cistern. I didn't both getting them to fix it until after I left. This was obvious on the floor on arrival. Louvre vents in bathroom door not only let the heat in, but also noise. Although I was lucky to have a room on the side away from the two busy streets. ( this hotel runs from Khao San Rd to Tani ). Wait staff didn't have a very good understanding of English and couldn't comprehend difference between large and small beer! Area around pool rough, with poor decking timbers giving shabby appearance. The noise of a tile grinder constantly going was also annoying as this was the last thing I needed to hear being in the construction industry on holiday. ( I understand this is a temporary matter) but annoying all the same.

Mixed Reviews: traveler who has been here twice
I’ve stayed at Villa Cha Cha in the past- It’s located in a rambunctious part of town w/ a lively night life in the Kausaun district in Bangkok. The hotel is dated, but clean. The room doors are old key lock doors, room safes are not attached to the wall ( a fix-it man came into repair our broken one & picked it up, left, & came back w/ a working one 😳), and the bathrooms antiquated. I like the breakfast options, the staff is pleasant, and the pool is lovely. FYI: they request you leave your passport w/ them or a cash deposit for the length of your stay. Very easy to get taxi to airport (runs 350-400 baht). Don’t book through the hotel for tours or taxi as the price goes up exponentially! Happy travels 🌱

Good location for our 4 days.
Good hotel in the midst of it, without the noise! Very quiet, clean and all that we needed. Ground floor reception/pool area - I think pics I had seen didn't do it justice, it was nicer than I was expecting - many beautiful decorations/statues. Pool was lovely, though the decking needs a bit of repair. On the upper floors, at first it seemed like a rabbits warren, but the room was great. I noticed some rooms didn't seem to have any windows, so make sure you check if that's important to you. Breakfast was great and they even, at the last minute, popped it into takeaway when we went on our tour early. Restaurant staff seem non-existent, we found we needed to look for someone to place our order each day. Location was perfect, not in the busy Rambuttri Street or Khao San Road, but the large lobby area extends through to a restaurant in Rambuttri where it's all happening, so you are in the thick of things within 50 metres. Walk out their actual front entrance and you are on a normal Bangkok street - best of both worlds.

Poor 2.0
Filth at its best
This hotel is in need of a major update and new staff. It is filthy and the rooms are very dated. The staff are not friendly and not welcoming at all. The linen is extremely sub standard and the comfort of the room is poor. The rooms are very small and we had a column in the middle of ours, which made it even smaller. The lift is filthy as is the foyer. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, even if it is in a good location. Booked 7 days, checked out in 4 and none of the hotel staff were interested why or even offered an apology. It is a cheap disgusting hotel. I guess you get what you pay for, but I believe we didn't even get that.

Cha cha Bkk
First impression arriving in hotel was very good, it is very pretty decoration, pool small but nice and nice welcome. Then we arrived in tiny old bedrooms, in the most noisy part of hotel I guess. Hard to sleep with the noise of fridge between our 2 small beds, the noise of A/C by the window and the outside bars and restaurants loud music noise. Breakfast is ok, no real fruit juices, simple but ok. Service is good, people from restaurant outside and front desk are nice, welcoming and helpful. On the contrary, staff from inside kitchen and hotel are not so polite, even rude for some of them. If you go, ask for quite rooms, supposedly there are some nice and well decorated ones.
