Very Good8.0
great location for food and nightlife
Clean hotel, staff spoke very little English, but very polite. The hotel is in the center of a strip mall, so there is access to dozens of shops and restaurants. It is a short walk to kokura castle and the Riverwalk mall. Would definitely come back for the price; paid roughly $60/night.

Not worth the $$ but close to everything
Rooms are ridiculously small. My sister and I stayed there for two nights after our Ferry ride from Busan. Although the hotel is located close to the JR and restaurants and shops, our room was not worth the $$. The staff was just ok. The free breakfast is a plus if you like Japanese food for breakfast.( tasteless noodles, cereal, bread etc)

Clean and comfortable
It was actually an accident that we ended up in KitaKyushu, but this room turned out great. Although very, very small (thankfully we knew this from previous reviews) it was all we needed for a one night stay. The cleanliness, the breakfast buffet, and the location was great. We would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area.

Conveniently located at the Kokura shipping arcade, lots of food stalls and malls available nearby. Hotel feels newly renovated, decent size by Japanese standards with free breakfast.
