We reserved a junior suite that was supposed to have city views. We did get the junior suite, but it was in the back of the hotel. It was large, but it smelt, and there were dead flowers left in the room. The next day we asked the front desk about the room. They said they only had two junior suites and both were in the back of the hotel with no view. We switched to a city view room, which was half the price of the junior suite (there was no refund given). It was what the picture of the junior suite was and was on the square with a nice view. The hotel is very dated. Bedding and towels are old and ragged. Internet access is for only 2 devices every 24 hour period. Location of the hotel is great and the staff was nice.

Comfy With Awful Front Desk Lady
The beds were comfortable. The location is excellent and central located in downtown near el parque de las palapas. Room was clean but the lady at front desk was incredibly rude. If you just need a no frills comfy hotel, this one is great. If you’re about good service, look elsewhere.

Dirty, Abandoned Room
I booked this room because of previous reviews and man we were wrong. The first inkling that this might not be a good stay was how abandoned this place felt as if we were the first customer in ages. First the parking was dank, dark with lots of construction material around and leaks everywhere. We finally get into the lobby and decide to take the elevator due to luggage and lets say that was one of the scariest and slowest elevator rides ever. We entered the room to be welcomed by a dead cockroach, and the smell of stuffiness. We turned on the AC and of course we looked out the window to see 3 floors down to see old used toilets full of rain water. The walk to the room was dark and uninviting to the point were we ourselves had to turn on the hall lights just so that we can find our room. After turning on the AC and letting it run for a bit nothing was happening so I walked down to the lobby and the receptionist was playing on her phone and watching TV , yes its Mexico but seriously customer service. I was lucky enough to have a maintance man be walking by he came up to the room and after a few minutes concluded that the AC was not working he left and a few minutes later the receptionist comes to the room and tries to fix the AC apparently maintance saying it didnt work was not enough. Finally we get another room only to be welcomed by rat feces on the floor and above the fridge and dust bunnies that could attack. At that moment we decided this was not a place for our family.
