First leg S. American journey
We were able to email with the B&B owner to notify him of our late arrival. They were very receptive and quick to reply. In our email conversation we were told about the McDonald's on the corner. Arriving at a late hour and not knowing the area, the McDonald's notation saved us. Although the surrounding surface streets appeared to be questionable the small quaint street path was warm and inviting. The rooms were spacious with vaulted ceilings and lots of natural light. The overall feel was aged and authentic, exactly what we were looking for to set the tone for our South American journey. A light breakfast suited the start of our day and the morning bread was excellent. Their broken English and our broken Spanish complimented one another making communication doable and easy. Special note: We travelled with a 7 month old and they were more than accommodating. A bed was provided for our infant and much travel anxiety of going with an infant was alleviated.

A delightful stay at Casa Bonita
This was just the right spot for our Santiago visit last February with convenient access to the subway which we used every day of our stay. Tours picked us up at another hotel just around the corner. The breakfast was really great. Monica who resides on the premises was a real help to us, prepares the breakfast as you like it and keeps the place spotless. The owner is also extremely helpful on any questions about getting around, places to eat or anything else you may need to know. Even offered to pick up a package for us which we left behind at a home near his house.

Cute place close to the metro
Cute little B&B in a University neighborhood which looks seedy at first but actually safe. Very very close to the metro station which was very convenient. The staff was helpful especially when I got in at around midnight to check in. Breakfast was good they also have free tea and coffee in the lobby 24/7. The wooden floors however are very creaky when you walk especially at night when people get in late. Nice experience overall.

Casa Bonita - Easy great stay
We stayed at Casa Bonita on our way to Vina del Mar. Hotel was very nice - clean - some rooms are a little small but manageable if only for a night. Breakfast in morning was lovely. Storage for bags was provided after checkout but before our flight which was very convenient. Part of town was a little iffy - but the hotel is off the main street!

GREAT B&B
The hotel was in a very safe and convenient location. The staff was excellent! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Casa Bonita. It was very clean and quiet, and the staff was always ready to help me with anything that I needed. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone travelling to Santiago.
