Great location, nice staff and good food
Great location, couple minutes walk to train station. Friendly staff especially front desk guy is very nice. Good food. Nice buffet breakfast with variety choices. They do have two rooms with shared bathroom, there was only one room left when I booked so I didn’t pay attention which was my fault, it was a surprise for me to have a shared bathroom so be careful when booking. Everything else is great.

Beautiful guesthouse in the heart of Porto
What a great guesthouse! The location is amazing, the staff is unbelievably friendly, and the guesthouse itself is beautiful. We could not have asked for a nicer place. Highly recommended!

A great place to stay
This is a great place to stay. The hosts/owners were so nice and friendly. The location can't be beat - very close to the Sao Bento metro/train station and in the old part of town. The breakfast is great with a buffet of bread, cheeses, meats, fruit, cereal, fresh juice, coffee, tea and pastries. You can sip on a welcome drink of port, beer or wine as the hosts give you a map and info on Porto. Our room was small but cozy and very clean and comfortable. There are many restaurants and a supermarket in the area. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

Friendly Clerigos
The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location could not have been better. It is a quiet antiquated neighborhood away from the main road by only 2 blocks. Breakfast and other meals were quite good. Warning: ask for a lower floor if your climbing is limited; if not, climb Clerigos Tower!
