Great Ryoken located in a great part of Kyoto
Great Ryoken in a charming part of Kyoto. Although you should book early as this is a popular neighborhood and a popular Ryoken.

Ok option for budget-minded travelers
While this inn was not the right place for me, I would highly recommend it for families traveling on a budget and for backpackers looking for safe and clean accommodations in Kyoto.

Lovey little place to stay in an amazing area in Kyoto! The staff were so friendly. It was a great intro to Ryokans without the hefty pric tag.

Convenient, clean and an immersive Japanese experi
I really enjoyed my stay. It was a very unique experience. I liked the common areas, where you have to kneel (or sit) on cushions on the floor and the pottery bath tub for a Japanese bath experience. The room was very clean. The location was great for temples and geisha spotting.
