About The Marlton Hotel, New York

Stylish West Village hotel with free breakfast, espresso bar

Near Washington Square

Elegant and charming, The Marlton Hotel places you in the creative West Village, a block from Washington Square Park and NYU. Restaurants and unique shops abound, while the West Fourth Street and Eighth Street subway stops, each within 3 blocks, will zip you all over the city.

Urban oases and markets

The Chelsea Market, a 20-minute walk, is a foodie's paradise, and just beyond is the entrance to the elevated oasis, The High Line. It's a 17-minute walk to Italian food emporium Eataly, which is just off lovely Madison Square Park and the striking Flatiron Building.

Hip drinking and dining

You can set yourself up for a busy day exploring the city with breakfast (surcharge) or a stop at the stylish espresso bar. The buzzy restaurant Margaux serves inventive seasonal fare, while the classic cocktail bar is popular among in-the-know New Yorkers. A complimentary breakfast is also served.

Small luxuries, free WiFi

With brass fixtures, crown moldings, and herringbone-patterned wood floors, the compact guestrooms have a boho-chic flair; beds are layered with custom linens and faux-fur blankets. Rooms also include free WiFi and LED TVs, and Côté Bastide bath products add a touch of luxury.

The Marlton Hotel, New York

Tiny and Cramped
Room was a closet with Bed...no room for ANYTHING, luggage, chair, or table....Just a bed with 4 walls so expect smallest room imaginable. I have traveled all over the world and this was the smallest room I’ve ever had. Someone has a lot of nerve charging $490 for this?

Not my kind of hotel room.
There was no place to put a suitcase except on the floor. The room was VERY small. You could barely was around the bed. There were no drawers anywhere. But there was lots of wine, beverages and snacks to buy. I guess the objective of the room is to party in it. The bed was comfortable and the shower was wonderful.

No Water
Didn't have water for a good portion of our stay. Front desk (Milena) didn't tell us that until AFTER we had checked in. Terrible customer service.

Pricey. Room too small. No space even for a single chair. Only 12 inch stool. Ridiculous. Had to put suitcase on bed.
