Nice pool and breakfast, had issues with room
We stayed for 2 nights. We were offered early check in and that was nice. The room had a very very weird smell to it and we all had headaches every day. We went to Walmart and bought air freshners for the room. We only had one roll of toilet paper for a family of 4 for 48 hours. We opted out of housekeeping the second day because my daughter and husband had a massive headaches and were sleeping so we didn't get any room supplies then, but when we called down a couple times to ask for some to be brought up, it never came. We had to go to Walmart for some things and bought toilet paper. That's really weird that we had to get our own tp when staying at a hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast both days and it was very big and yummy! And we did enjoy both pools a lot and spent a lot of time swimming. The gentlemen who checked us in was extremely nice.

Great hotel + great employees= memorable stay!
We went cross-country from Cape Cod, MA to the Grand Canyon. St. George was an unplanned stay that turned into our all-time favorite!!! It’s easy to seecehyvtheyvevwon so many awards- they treat their staff quite well, and it shows in their work!! Their groundskeeper/maintenance man shared that he had been there almost 28 years!!! He truly lives what he does and it makes a difference. I loved the options for seating during breakfast, as we had a dog with us, and usually someone got left out of the family dining experience. With the patio dining right outside the breakfast rooms, nobody got left out. We lost bed it so much that we booked a second night ( unplanned) just fifteen minutes after entering our room. Raven( at the desk) is a stand-out employee, as well. It reminded me of a Disney resort- for adults. Clean pool, rooms, meticulous grounds, happy employees, hummingbirds flitting about the flowers, birds enjoying a drink from the fountain....the best stay of our three-week trip!!! 5+ stars.

Charming spot right off the highway!
Loved staying at an independently operated hotel - will definitely be back. The only downside were the families using the pool: eating poolside, small children jumping in and out of the spa/jacuzzi and out of control horseplay. There were 3 young boys shoving each other around on the pool deck and pushed each other on top of us in the pool. I raised my voice for them to stop (they did apologize) but their parents did nothing.
