Great location!
The location is unbeatable. Close to everything: tour sites, restaurants, subway station, and grocery stores. The one bedroom apartment is big and comfortable. It has a good size kitchen. Very convenient for our family.

Lovely service, good location but LOUD
The hotel is centrally located, the staff is friendly and courteous, very accommodating. The beds are very comfortable and the down duvets are great. On the down side, the place is a bit worn and the heating system didn’t work - both within tolerable limits. However, the place is unfortunately located near a youth hostel and its guests come back from partying late and congregate in the street near the bedroom’s windows. As a light sleeper I haven’t slept properly for all the theee nights we were there as they would come and go every 20 min, up to 3-4 in the morning. Also, be warned that the cathedral’s bells chime every 15 minutes, day and night. However this didn’t wake me up, the commotions outside did as their loud conversations could last for up to 40 min...I would stay there again but in a room that doesn’t have windows in the proximity of the street.

Best Find in The City of London!
We chose King's Wardrobe because as a family of six, I prefer to have a washer/dryer & kitchen at my hands, even if we don't use them much. From the moment we checked in, Tobey (General Manager), was amazing! The 2baths, 2beds + living and separate kitchen was perfect! Linens were great and towels ENORMOUS bath sheets! Loved the electric kettle - came home to the US and bought one! Two minutes (walking) from St. Paul's, shops, restaurants and Blackfriars station, which has direct trains to Gatwick and tube lines in district and circle lines, so we were anywhere we wanted to be in London within minutes! The heating in the apartments was strong and we actually used AC in March! Keep in mind this is apparently common for England - one of our tour guides during the week stated that "Americans like it colder than we do", which make sense because every pub, building, and store was warmer than we are used to and I mention this because a few people left "complaint" reviews about heating/temperatures - which is not fair if that is standard for the region you are visiting. They probably complained because they did not know how to set the thermostat in celsius, but you can convert on google. We will book here again this summer and our kids are already proficient in getting from place to place from this area! Very safe - we let our 4 kids walk back from dinner alone (ages 6-17) and they were perfectly fine at near 10pm. You hear the St. Paul's bells but it was so quaint! :-)
