Brassey Hotel, Barton
Lovely ambience.
The hotel was very good and I found the staff extremely helpful. Although they do not have a restaurant, they did guide me to their sister hotel across the road for breakfast. Unfortunately for the cost the buffet was, it was a little disappointing as the eggs and bacon were luke warm. However, at night, I was pleasantly surprised that The Brassey offered free coffee and for a small cost, meals that could be heated up in the microwave, which were quite good. Overall, a lovely stay.

Great amenities and service but standard rooms
Great service and amenities, including impressive gym. Poor lighting in the room, heating didn't work and the view was blocked/windows didn't open properly so felt a bit trapped.

Comfortable for one night and reasonably priced
My wife and I stayed a night for leisure, hotel was partially under renovation on corridor and a spa or something. Night time was very quiet and we don't see any stores around except other hotels and houses nearby. Day time just a bit of renovating noises for the moment. Our room was reasonable on price, except we don't get a free toothbrush which was bit of surprise. We were on the ground floor, the bed is a bit soft for us but it was queen size. The cleanliness was great but cleaner knocked our door with do not disturb sign up well before check out time. Good size Led TV and luckily we seem to grab the last parking slot otherwise no idea where to park cause street parkings seem to have time limit. Free coffee and water in the lobby and wifi was good in our room.

Best sleep ever
Really comfortable, quiet hotel. Beds are awesome. Recommend the superior room for a little extra.
