Great stay!
Stay here! The views, the style, the location: all amazing! We walked to the beach and to a local coffee shop. I wish we would have stayed longer. Room was clean and cool. We stayed in the other building and I wish our neighbors’ patios were completely hidden from ours (they were separated by a curtain that doesn’t hit the ground). Overall great stay!

We loved The Shore House!
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. We arrived on Memorial Day and stayed into Tuesday morning. We arrived at 2:20pm with our Goldendoodle and was warmly welcomed by Luciana. She kindly gave us an upgraded room (room 1) that has the balcony facing the ocean which is located in the main house. Our original room was directly across the hall (room 4). The room is absolutely beautiful, spacious, bright, and cleaned immaculately. The room boasted a comfortable king sized bed, 2 accent chairs, a dresser, and a mini fridge. The bathroom was a good size with a nice shower and very clean. It was Monday so we expected the restaurant to be closed but due to the holiday and perfect weather, it was open. We decided to have a couple apps and drinks at the bar and we were not disappointed. The shrimp were huge and the calamari was very good. Drinks and service were on point. Our bartender, Gianna, was the best and she made some fantastic cocktails. The prices are high and expected due to location. We took our 2nd round of drinks to the front lawn and enjoyed chatting with new people, enjoying the view, while relaxing with the sun on our face. The location is close to several restaurants. The hotel provides complimentary bikes. You can bike to Cool Beans Cafe for breakfast and have the best coffee I have personally had. We very much enjoyed our stay and will return. The only negative I have to say is I don’t like that you cannot lock the room door from the inside.

4/10 Fair

The shower head broke and sprayed water all over the place. The hairdryer was filthy and very sticky. Showed it to the person at the desk and he said it was the sanitizer spray that was making it sticky. I asked for another hairdryer and it was fine.

Great location, could use improvements
Hotel was in the perfect spot – super close to the pier, shopping, and the beach! The room was small yet cute and the on-site restaurant that is pet friendly was awesome since I was traveling with my pup. Also obsessed with the Malin + Goetz products that were in the room (literally went online and ordered some for my house before i left.) Downside was that the deadbolt didn’t work. I didn’t feel unsafe in the area but just like the extra security (especially since I was traveling alone.) If you’re on the bottom floor, be prepared to hear absolutely everything from the people above you. It sounded like they were herding elephants - my dog was not able to relax at all which had me up at weird hours too when we could hear them going to the bathroom at 3 AM. Finally, the rooms cleaning was just meh. There was a dead fly in the room. The floor was super slippery so be careful walking around with socks. I would stay here again but definitely not a luxurious spot if that’s what you’re going for.
