Good stay
Very welcoming and pleasant stay. The owner actually stopped by to let us know smores were being made around an outside fire. Easy walk to shopping, near a park & pretty stream with tiny trout. Bed was firm, good for me. No housekeeping. Small kitchen area with stove & fridge. The place has been there a while but well maintained. Had a deer just outside our door one morning.

Misty Mountain is a comfortable, down to earth place that treats you like family. My family and I travel a lot and this was the first time I have ever been comfortable just sitting around a fire, eating S'mores with total strangers and making new friends. That's what, owners, Peter and Ellen bring together.

Comfortable stay
We had the king suite so I don't know if the other units are like ours. Our unit was rustic but nice and very clean. The owners are very nice and eager to help when needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We appreciated the kitchen and had the utensils we needed to do our own cooking instead of going to a restaurant all the time. The Lodge is about 3 blocks from the business street and we enjoyed that because we could walk and not be concerned about parking the car.

Misty Mountain Pleasures!
Peter and Ellen were incredibly accommodating hosts during our stay. Estes Park & Misty Mountains Lodge was a stop on our 10-Day Harley Trip from Sturgis, SD. Peter and Ellen made us feel right at home and even had a bon fire and Smores event that night. They were also very informative hosts regarding area restaurants, store, events, and near-by site seeing "Must-Sees".
