Beautifully renovated classy hotel in downtown Moose Jaw! Very good appointed rooms that have been modernized with old class charm in mind.

When we first checked in, we were given a room that had an exterior fire escape door that would not lock -- this is a clear safety issue so we were put in a different (smaller) room. It would have been fine, but when we attempted to watch TV in our room later that night, there was no TV service. A phone number came up for us to dial and i reached someone with the cable company who informed me that the Grant Hall Hotel had canceled television service on July 7. I found this perplexing. When the lady at the front desk that evening (finally) answered, she blamed lack of service on "the storm," despite the fact that we had power. When confronted with the information I was provided by the cable company, she said that hotel ownership was changing hands and perhaps that's why there was no service. It's just mind-boggling that a 21st century hotel wouldn't even have rabbit ears for local TV so one might be able to watch the news. I was hoping for a much better experience since the hotel is so lovely and has such great history. I thought this may be a fun place to stay during my visit to Moose Jaw since it's a hotel that would have been around when my grandma was growing up in Moose Jaw in the 1930s, but it turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. I'm hoping they get their management issues hammered out.

Breathtaking architecture that was like stepping into history back in the day (NOT the kind of stepping into history where it seems forgotten, not cared for, and outdated). Basic room was a bit cramped, but I expected that in an old hotel. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and fit the antique tone with a modern twist. Also really enjoyed the front desk clerk from South Africa. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderfully restored 1900's hotel that is in the heart of town. Beautiful rooms with wonderful furnishings. Loved the convenience of being able to walk to local shops and restaurants.

    A treasure in Moose Jaw

What a special place. This is an elegant but not pretentious historic hotel with a beautiful restaurant and lobby, and clean, spacious and well apportioned rooms. The location is perfect. Above all there was a fantastic staff that made our visit even more memorable. Thank you for a great stay.
