Traveling with Kids and a Dog
I was driving through St. Louis with 3 children and a small dog. We wanted a fun, upscale and safe hotel near the Arch that accommodated a pet. We enjoyed walking around Downtown and sitting at the pet-friendly park just outside the main entrance. Room service was better than average, the room was very spacious and the beds were just what travel weary family needed! The kids enjoyed separate TVs. Will stay there again when passing through.

Not worth the money
The staff of the hotel was rude and unfriendly. The website I used to book stated that parking was included, but the hotel was going to charge us $40 to park our car for one night! We ended up parking 4 blocks away for $24 a night! How ridiculous!!! The room was nice, but did not live up to the brochure and cost. It was nice, but not $200 a night nice. We had a view of 20 air conditioner units out of the window! There are only ice machines on 1 floor and no "special" amenities, body wash, shampoo and conditioner were mounted in the shower so Ihad no choice but to bring my own because i have sensitive skin. It's a good thing I did. I don't know what detergent the hotel uses for sheets and towels, but I now have hives on my back. My doctor said it's just a skin reaction to detergent, not bedbugs! The hotel evidently pays someone to work as a doorman, but I was obviously not recognized as a paying customer, because I had to open the door myself every time I came through it. In a nutshell, we had planned to spend a little more than normal to have a great experience. We did not!!! We would rather stay in an economy location where people value our business.
