Great B&B!
This is a lovely B&B! Most hotels just can't beat that personal touch. This was my first trip to Canada and I got to experience the friendliness of Canadians first hand. For my stay I got the suite with the jetted tub. The room itself is on the smaller side but that's because it has access to a dining room and the bathroom in a separate room. Breakfast everyday was a delight; Linda works miracles with food and I never had to eat lunch! Brian is an attentive host, always happy to drive you where I needed to go in the area and a fountain of knowledge about Richmond/Vancouver. The B&B is just a stone's throw away from some restaurants and in between two bus routes heading into Vancouver. Plus, it's not far from 'Storybrooke' in Once Upon a Time! I couldn't find time to go there but I will the next time! It was a real pleasure staying at the StoneHedge. Highly recommend to anyone who prefers a more personalised experience.

Quaint B&B
I originally chose this place in order to mix up from my usual lodging choices which I'm glad I did. This area is good for Chinese food. I made the walk from near the Richmond Centre is 35 minutes but I think that there is a bus that one can take if the walk is unappealing. The proprietor might also be willing to shuttle you but I didn't test that out until the next morning when I was schlepped to the airport. The proprietor is a wealth of information about the rooms, local area, and varieties of tea, among other things offered things that I would be too shy to ask or wouldn't even think to ask but which shaped my opinion of the local area in a positive way. The breakfast served tended to be on the sweeter side but was A-OK for this American. The service was impeccable so I have zero complaints here. In fact, if one has a complaint about the B&B that isn't rectified, I dare say that it is because it was not brought to the proprietor's attention. The safari room was quite comfortable. The bed was of medium firmness with soft pillows. The bathroom was shower only so for those who prefer a bath, one of the other rooms would be the choice for that. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment over other choices in the area and would definitely stay here again. Supporting small business is easy when one has experiences like the one that I had here.

Hidden Jewell
Stone Hedge is a quaint little B&B nestled in the heart of Richmond, close to shopping and dining. The owners are friendly, and work hard to make you feel like you are at home. Guest rooms are immaculate, each decorated in its own theme. Mornings they serve a five-star quality breakfast, and evenings they offer turn-down service complete with little chocolates and cookies. What more could you want?
