A True Five Star Experience
I have never before stayed at a hotel where before I even left, I was saying to myself that I needed to come back. The Crawford is a truly unique and wonderful experience, from the wooden beams that break through the rooms to the absolutely top notch staff who will go above & beyond for you. Everything about the stay is absolute luxury.

Fun place to see, but not to stay
We booked the loft but it was sold out upon arrival. We were “upgraded” to a boring box room. It was located on the second floor so we had people from the Cooper Lounge running past our door until midnight. The Terminal Bar down below was super fun to see, but patrons were hooting and hollering until after 2am.

Very Good8.0
Attractive + well located, but with shortcomings.
The hotel is extremely well located in the Union Station, near sports arenas and many restaurants and night spots, as well as to urban rail lines offering transportation to the airport and to many other locations around the metro area. The room my wife and I shared was not overly spacious, but was very attractively designed and appointed. The lighting, which so often is lacking in hotels, was super, with two very an attractive overhead fixtures, and several smaller wall fixtures, and two reading lights on the bedstead. The room has a very spacious and attractive shower featuring two shower heads - one on the wall, and one suspended from the ceiling. Unfortunately the it was impossible to fully shut off the suspended head when using the wall mounted head. Other disappointments included limited surface space in the bathroom; a sink faucet handle that was not secured to the sink, making it hard to operate; and the absence of the promised "turn down" feature, that led us to expect chocolates on our pillows, when we returned to our room at bed time.

Superb hotel in downtown
We had only one night at The Crawford. I've never wanted to stay longer at a hotel. We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the train platform after the woman at registration asked if we'd prefer to switch from a 4th floor loft. I appreciated being given that option. The room was perfect - quiet, roomy, lots of nice touches. The bathroom shower was large and had a wonderful overhead showerhead. We spent a lot of time in the room. It's a romantic place and we'll definitely stay there again when in Denver.
