  • I didn't like the brown water that came out of the faucets, that was very disgusting. 11:…

The views from the rooms we had were superb. I didn't like the $10/night fee to leave our car there while we were on the ferry, especially since we stayed again after our ferry trip.

Very nice hotel with a high end restaurant with a view. They gave me a terrible room (2nd floor just above the parking lot blocked by an awning), but I was only there one night so it worked OK.

We checked in very late (the train arrived 6 hours late). Checking in was a breeze. The AC in the room didn't work right but the hotel provided a fan. When we opened the window, the room temperature was fine. The binoculars in the window were great for watching the water. The restaurant was good and breakfast was quick. The front desk called our cab for us since we had to meet the ferry at 9 am.

The hotel was nice, the view terrific and the food in the dining room was fantastic, especially the halibut special on the last night we were there. It was the best halibut we have ever eaten.

Great location that is central to all. Clean room and beautiful views of port.

The room didn’t have a belcony but instead a comfortable bay window to view the busy beautiful port. Enjoyed watching paddle boards, fishing boats, tugs, cargo/container/cruise ships, coast guards, seagulls, eagles and otters. This location is central and all walking distance to downtown, Cow Bay, streets of old homesteads, churches and hidden walkways that we enjoyed for days. Minutes away from endless docks of every shape, size and purpose of boats were a pleasure to watch and look at. The room was clean and comfortable although lack of hooks to dry towels for the eco friendly program! We came from the inland looking to feast on fresh/local seafood but the menus lacked to offer through out town... this was a major disappointment. We didn’t come to experience the typical bar or restaurant food that you can get anywhere..They need to offer what the coastal waters have to offer and what people come to enjoy of coastal food. Majority of the menus was of beef, chicken and pork, little selection of fresh seafood... this left our taste buds and cravings unsatisfied and disappointed. Reguardless of our disappointment in food, We enjoyed our get away. We soaked it all up like sponges to be back again passing on our recommendation that every one else needs to experience the same as we have of Prince Rupert BC... Enjoy

    Hot but beautiful

There was no air conditioning and it took an hour for staff to find a fan for the room. It was a heatwave so that Was a huge disappointment considering the cost of the room. There was nothing the staff could do for us. The view was awesome.
