Great hostel with great staff.
Easily the best hostel in vegas. The rooms are clean and the staff are generally speaking pretty awesome. The guy that runs the place is often the person who runs the group events and is probably the best person to show you how to enjoy las vegas. The value from a properly run hostel is much more than just the affordable stay.

It's a good hostel to stay.
They offer a bunch of fun activities. It's bad you have to pay a resort fee when it doesn't come close to a resort.

Too noisy and crowded.
I’ve stayed here three times and will not do so again. The place is loud until early hours of the morning due to the constant party atmosphere, it is clean-ish. During my last stay, the place smelled so awful, I had to wrap the blanket over my face to sleep and a very drunk roommate kept coming in, turning lights on, and being loud at 2am. Not the first time this has occurred. They stuff 10 beds into a tiny room. It is crowded and a bit overpriced, considering you can book a hotel on Fremont for the same price on weekdays. If you’re looking for a clean, less crowded, and quiet place, I highly recommend the hostel next door.
