Recommend for a Cathedral visit stay
We had a really pleasant stay at the Canterbury Hotel. The room was very clean and big enough for the two of us. There was a modern bathroom with all the mod cons provided. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is only about 10 mins flat walk from the Cathedral and the hotel provide you with a map of the town. Leave your car in the free hotel car park. Breakfast was really good, with a great selection from cooked to cereal to pastries. Overall a really nice hotel that I would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again.

Simple & Friendly Staff
Great location. Walking distance to the town, cathedral and food. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. We were traveling by train to London the next day and they even offered to let me keep my car there overnight as a courtesy. The area was a bit off putting at first but ended up being great! My 16 yr old son And I walked from hotel to dinner (at night) within 15 minutes and felt very safe . We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. Breakfast in the morning was great and served by a very nicely dressed manager with a smile:)

A great place to stay in Canterbury
A really charming English hotel. 4-poster canopy bed- plenty of drawers for storage. Electric tea kettle in the room.fabulous English breakfast, which was included. we were able to walk to everything in town. Despite the scaffolding, the cathedral was awesome! Only drawback- we had the one room that faced the street which was very busy! So be sure to ask for one overlooking the garden.

Nice hotel very good value for the price, although the room was a bit tight and the bathroom needs some maintenance (sink).

Solid hotel
Nice hotel, good location. The rooms need better lighting, too dark. WiFi was slow and when 3 of us logged on kept dropping one of us.
