Efficient but tiny rooms
The hotel room is very small. If you're a big person, I couldn't recommend it. There's barely enough room to put your luggage on the rack. So if you travel lightly, don't mind tight spaces and are on the small size, go for it.

Convenient, Economical, and Clean
I stayed for 11 days and the hotel was very reasonable, 900 USD for the time. Its location is convenient as well, near the center of Tokyo. It is about 3/4 of a mile from the Imperial Palace and around the corner from the National Theater. There are also plenty of eating choices and mini-marts nearby; and there is a metro station a little over a block away as well. The room was good for a single person or a couple using a single suitcase and carry on. Outside of that the room is small but clean and comfortable. The only downside of this hotel was its restaurant, the food was passable and edible but it wouldn't be my first choice. Also the breakfast buffet food was the same way, but it cost about 11 USD the day before or 13 USD the morning off. I didn't think that was worth it. That being said, the food prices were reasonable outside of breakfast. The staff was very courteous, helpful, and professional. All in all, it's a good hotel and if I was going back to Tokyo this hotel would be my first choice.

Part of APA Hotel chain. Good ratio of location/price/quality. High-quality finishes on everything like higher end hotels, only smaller quantities. Staff is attentive. Only negative is that owner is a right wing nationalist historical revisionist who thinks he has a captive audience for his political views: So there will be a whole wall in your room devoted to his essays and other musings. He is not a fan of the United States. His right to think that way, but do I need to hear about it while I'm on vacation?
