Charming Florence B&B
I stayed at this charming b&b to attend a wedding across the street. Villa Nardi is located a short walk up a hill from Boboli garden. About a 13-15 euro cab ride from train station. Nice relaxing quiet place after spending one's day wandering the streets of florence Great quiet garden setting. You get taken back into the past as you are staying in the Nardi family residence. The top floor was converted into 5 suites. The rooms were large. Furnished with old furnitures - the bathrooms were modern. Weather was warm but room stayed cool with the trees. Air conditioning is available. One staff person from 7 to 7 - taking care of breakfast and front desk. Very helpful in recommending or arranging activities. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of variety - typical European continental breakfast with cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, baked goods. What is great about b&b is you meet guests from all over with interesting stories. I would stay at Villa Nardi again if I was visiting Florence.

Cute and quaint but too far
We only stayed in this villa to attend a wedding nearby, or else we would never stay here. It's much to far from the city. We are glad we stayed because it was interesting to be in a neighborhood, but taking a cab every night was pricy and inconvienent. Staff is great, however no onsite iron (?) and wi fi was horrible.

Ideal location for peaceful rest
Located in a wonderful park 25-minute walk from the city center, the villa probably offers the best peaceful stay in Florence. Walls are thick so you cannot hear the neighboring guests. Rebecca - a member of staff - is very friendly and helpful and will make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

Neighborhood just outside the City bustle
I would rate this at least 3 star. No tv but ambiance! Right next to Boboli Gardens in a lovely neighborhood offering respite from a full day's touring. Quiet, peaceful, clean and simple.

Went to Florence for a holiday, lovely place and the Hotel is a converted Villa. the owner still occupy the ground floor. However the neighbourhood is great and the place is very authentic.
