Great location, super affordable, comfortable room
Smaller hotel located a few from the Puerta Del Sol. We had a corner-view room with a king bed, 3 small balconies, small fridge, nicely updated bathroom and it was about $98/night! Clean room, comfortable bed. Totally recommend. It IS a walk-up hotel, so plan on 2-3+ floors of stairs.

Nicest receptionist in Madrid
This was an excellent place to stay. Primarily for two things: location and the receptionist, Rubin. First the location. It was an easy trip from the metro station Puerto de Sol once you figured out how to get there, but it hard to find our first night there. It's located without a prominent sign on the front door, but it's across from the Thai place when you find it. Rubin was amazing- spoke clear English and was extremely polite when I asked him many questions. He even recommended that I go to Segovia for a day trip and drew me an itinerary on the map for exploring Madrid in one day. I would easily come back just to have him as the receptionist there. Besides that, the room was clean and there were two bathrooms in the 2- bedroom suite. The shower was very comfortable. The only thing was the bathroom tended to smell after using it a few times and it was hard to vent it out. Overall, an idea location!

Good value hotel in Madrid
Nice room for the price

Excellent4.0 / 5
The room is great with its price. It is conveniently located at Sol which is the city centre. Although it is located in a small street, it is very close to the main street which is very bustle and we are not worried about our safety (but of course need to be aware of pickpockets). One bad thing is that it is located on the second floor with no elevator. It may be a bit troublesome when you are carrying a heavy luggage. The room is not big but is tidy.

Clean modern little hotel, great price & location
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel for the price I paid. First of all, great location: right near Sol, but a "quiet" side street (as quiet as it gets in this neighborhood). The room was very clean with a small balcony. It has a mini fridge, AC, TV, safe. The receptionist even brought me an electric kettle and a mug to keep for my stay. The balcony doors are double-soundproof, and they really keep the room quiet. The only problem is, it gets very hot and not enough air at night, but what can you do other than use the AC. The only strange thing about the set up is the separate bathroom (private, but across the corridor). I'd prefer to have a key for it, but I never asked. The bathroom is tiny but also very clean and modern with a rain showerhead. Overall, highly recommended. The young man at the reception is very polite, nice and helpful. He helped me with my bag because there is no elevator (3rd floor).
