Best Place to Stay at Hull
The Kingston Theatre hotel is absolutely charming, and the staff were lovely, cheerful, friendly, and accommodating. I felt at home there, and look forward to staying there again in future. Highly recommend KTH to family & friends.

Sadly disappointing
This is a hotel in grand Victorian builds and a great setting, overlooking a Victorian garden square and should have been splendid. It was OK. Comfortable and spacious but nothing special. Staff were professional but distant; I didn’t get the impression they were really paying attention to me. We had breakfast as part of the room cost but on the first morning discovered breakfast stopped at 9:00am. I stay in hotels all over the country for business and I cannot think of another hotel, even business orientated hotels, that shut breakfast at 9:00am. Firstly the restaurant is in a separate building to the room we had, which meant a walk in the rain to get to reception and the restaurant. When we did arrive, at 9:30, it was too late. All shut up. Needless to say we were not very pleased. For the life of me I cannot believe a hotel stops serving breakfast at 9:00am. We were on holiday and 9:00am is early. Most hotels stop serving breakfast at 10:30 or 11:00. The waitress was polite but offered nothing. The receptionist barely looked at us, did not get up, repeated that breakfast was between 7 and 9 and could not offer a refund as breakfast was included in the room cost. No apology, no empathy, no attempt to make us feel they cared one way or another. Our overall impression is that this is a hotel that does not value it’s guests. More Basil Fawlty that Trust House Forte.

A relaxing breaj
Went for a relaxing break for a couple of nights. Hotel easy to find, free parking is off site a couple of minutes walk from the hotel we stayed in a king executive room which is in a different building from the main hotel which is a bit of a quirk. The area around the hotel is really quite yet just a five minute walk from Princess Quay shopping centre and the city hall. Breakfast was nice too.

Charming Hotel
The Kingston Theatre Hotel provided a lovely warm welcome in charming surroundings. The room was spacious with high ceilings and period decor. Located in a quiet square just a short walk from the centre of town, it is the perfect place to stay.
