Close to restaurants
We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Rua das Pedras, which is where all the good restaurants are. They don't have parking but there is one two blocks away that you have to pay in cash for and is guarded at night. The breakfast ladies at the hotel are awesome and the reception guys helpful and have a good attitude! We stayed two nights during Carnaval week. Lots of mosquitos in the room though!

Great little pousada
Great location and amazing service. Hotel condition is in need of some updating, but the helpful, friendly staff made the stay great. Great location right near the Center of town. The gift of champagne and pannettone for New Years was really sweet.

Well located pousada
We stayed for two nights. Breakfast was really good. Room was spacoius confortable and clean. Towels were changed every day. Staff was warm and friendly. Very profesional. They took our luggage so we can enjoy the rest of the day after check out. We highly recommend it!!

Great Location...Disappointing facilities!
I was disappointed in this hotel. From the pictures, the reviews and the ratings, I was expecting much more. Perhaps its my fault. This would have been a fine 2 or 3 Star experience. The hotel itself rates itself as a 3 Star....so, perhaps I was hoisted on my own petard! However, everyone was giving it a "4 Star" rating in the reviews....so, I was expecting a 4 Star experience! Sadly, it was no where near that. Basic room...sheets were clean, hot water worked, A/C worked, morning breakfast was good and great location made up for run down overall condition. (OH! And the PRICE was right! lol) Come expecting a 3 Star experience, and you'll be fine!
