Hotel Socaire, Campeche
Campeche stay
It was amazing, except that this is for Jean-Claude constandse and I called to make changes to my stay 1 month before the trip and said they had called the hotel for the changes and all was good. When I arrived one night later and departed one day earlier I was still charged for the two extra nights because they said did call them, the authorized the change but failed to update the itinerary that makes it official so they could not release the rooms until they got that which never came. I have been with for 4 years and this was kind of disappointing having to pay for two nights that I specifically and proactively called to cancel

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location.
Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms and bathrooms, nice pool, friendly staff, and a lovely restaurant. This hotel is a gem, located in the Historic Center of Campeche. Only a block from many other restaurants, but on a quiet street, and with great air conditioning. We loved our Campeche experience [we were there for Carnaval] and we will certainly return to Hotel Socaire!

A tale of two hotels
The upstairs rooms are large and beautifully restored. Ours # 17 was just fantastic. The last night we had to move to a ground floor room. Dark, unable to open window and a lack of privacy. Be very careful of the room that you get as it could make all the difference in your stay.

Hotel Socaire Review
We found the hotel to be perfectly situated, large rooms with high ceilings, comfortable bed and very large bathroom. The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful in answering any questions we had, and for guiding our sightseeing adventures.
