I LOVED the price, location and the size of the room. The room was HUGE by NYC standards. However, there are no refrigerators or microwaves in any of the rooms so food gets a little pricy without a way to keep leftovers. There was also a $50 non-refundable “location fee” that wasn’t initially mentioned when booking. That’s definitely something to take into consideration when booking based on price. I did love the area. It’s in Chinatown, within walking distance of Little Italy, The Lower East Side and is a short ride or walk to Downtown Brooklyn. I would definitely stay here again but would factor in the cost of food and location fee.

I have stayed at the Leon several times. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are a decent size for NYC with good views. Convenient to Chinatown, Little Italy and the Lower East Side.
