Comfortable but dated Chinatown hotel
I was greeted with a cheerful, warm and quick check-in, which is always a good start! However, once arriving in my room, I noted how dated the interior was, with some small issues (a mess of plugs/cords; a rubber stopper in the modern, updated sink) that felt a bit "unsightly" for a hotel. But the room was spacious, had a coffee/tea maker, and was comfortable, so these issues feel somewhat silly. The area was mostly deserted at night, and difficult to find a late-night snack.

Uninvited "guests" in the room
The hotel has minimal service, the room we stayed in was fairly tight. The staff was very responsive to our requests and accommodative. The big draw back is that I came out of my stay covered with insect bites (bed bugs? fleas?) to which I am extremely allergic. So - no, I would not recommend to any of my friends to stay at that hotel.

Great location, great price
Loved the location! Close to food and subways. View of downtown and bridge from corner room was fantastic Furniture is a tad tired. Rain shower was sparkly clean and wonderful.

The Leon is a lovely hotel. We had a family room containing two bathrooms, a king bed and tree doubles. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly.
