Good value, be aware of "twin beds", not separated
I had a very difficult time finding this hotel by driving. I didn't see any directions for arriving by car, only by tram. The price was fantastic for a Stockholm hotel, this was the reason I booked the hotel. I booked "twin beds" and didn't realize that the "twin beds" were not separated. My Dad and I spent 5 nights at this hotel and it was extremely uncomfortable because we essentially were sleeping in a queen size bed. The beds were not able to be separated. The bathroom smelled like the cleaning was used with the same dirty rag. It was musty and nasty. The design of the hotel was great as well as the breakfast. Free coffee all day long was definitely a bonus with the high cost of coffee in Sweden. Having the pharmacy and grocery store next door was a huge bonus. Having the tram stop right outside of the hotel was very convenient.

July 2016
I stayed here in July 2016 for 13 nights. If you are young and traveling solo, I do not recommend this hotel. There is nothing going on in the area. Mostly high-rise luxury condos with a few businesses sprinkled in between. I would recommend staying near one of these train stations: Gamla Stan, Slussen, Ostermalmstorg, or T-Centralen. If you plan on taking advantage of the Stockholm Card and doing a lot of tourist stuff, stay in Ostermalm or near T-Centralen. Otherwise it will take you an hour or more to get anywhere if you are relying on public transportation and Google Maps. Anyway, about Motel L... The bed is so comfortable that it is tempting to not leave the room. There is VERY convenient train access, but unfortunately the train was shut down during more than half of my stay there (due to construction) so I had to walk to the nearest train station which was a 13 minute walk. There is a grocery store in the same building as the hotel. There is bar in the hotel (closes at 11:45pm) and a bar next door. Good breakfast with acceptable variety, approx $10.00. The room is much smaller than what they portray in the photos. When you shower, put a large towel on the floor, as water will get everywhere.

Trendy hotel close to everything
Motel l was awesome. There was a grocery store next door, great breakfast and super close to everything. Citt bike rack was across the street. Highly recommended!

Great hotel
Hotel was great for the price. Room very comfortable. Nice selection of cold breakfast foods to get you going for the day. Grocery store a couple doors down from the hotel if needed. If you drive to the hotel parking may be an issue. There is a garage for $18-20/ day but access is limited to 05:00 to 23:00 so if out later must park on the street if you can find a space as they are limited. Highly recommend this hotel for its convenience, when asked staff were helpful, and cleanliness.

Not bad
The bed was incredibly comfortable, that was the best part. Bathroom was a decent size and set up. The room was small but worked well for just myself. I stayed here as it was close to the globen. The hotel is quite nice but there isn't much around it. The tram stop is right outside so easy to get into the city centre. They didn't have phones in the room so you couldn't call down to front desk, you would have to go down to talk with them. I found that to be much more annoying that I thought. Heated floors in the bathroom always a plus. The gym was okay, I was able to get in a light work out. They do not accept packages here so it made things a little difficult for me. If you need an affordable place to stay it's not bad, but there's much better options.
