Great stay but services limited during off season
We must have stayed here during the off season because very few people were there and you had give them advance notice if you wanted to eat there. The bar was closed.

Peaceful jungle retreat
This is a lovely hacienda about 15-minutes from Valladolid. We were the only guests on the night we stayed and received excellent service, The property has a lovely pool and would be perfect for a wedding or family reunion. The cottages looked cute, but don't have air-conditioning. We opted for a room in the main house with A/C.

Beautiful rustic hacienda
We loved our stay here. The atmosphere was amazing. Animals, orchards, beautiful grounds with its own little church... So beautiful. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip was staying here.

Dream place
This place is a gem! It is a little bit outside of the beautiful little town of Valladolid, so you need a car to stay there. The property is magnificent, yet simple. It is not for everyone as there is no wifi, TV, AC. But for people who want to rest and enjoy the calm after a day of visits to Valladolid, Chichen Itza or Ek Balem, this is a dream place. We stayed there with our 3 kids and they enjoyed the pool a lot. They serve food in the restaurant but the menu is limited and the wait is a bit long. We had one meal there and one meal in Valladolid (very lively at night, with nice restaurants). All the people who work at Hacienda San Miguel go above and beyond to help you. They speak very limited English but are probably the most welcoming people we met during our trip in Yucatan (everyone was actually incredibly nice).

Above and Beyond
We appreciated our greeting very much. Fresh coffee and ice for our evening drinks on the veranda with a wonderful recommendation for dinner. The morning brought a stroll to see all of the animals and a lovely send off by our host with coffee! We highly recommend this tranquil and beautiful place to stay!
