Casa Andina
My only complaint about the hotel is the location. The hotel was nice, but unfortunately it was located next to the railroad line. The train was noisy and would wake me up at night. The room did not have air conditioning and was warm. If you opened the window you would inhale the fumes from the train. The staff was excellent. They were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean. The food at the breakfast buffet was good. Also, the hotel charged for WiFi in the room, which was unfortunate. Most of the hotels we stayed at provided free WiFi.

Nice and clean
This is one of the nicest hotels in Machu Picchu, modern, clean and tastefully decorated. The location is right opposite the train station. This is convenient however if your room faces the rail line you will listen to the train announcements all day and this is pretty annoying. But if you are out all day, this shouldn't matter. The rooms facing the river don't have this problem and the view is much better but of course more expensive. One weak point is wifi is only free in the lobby and is very very slow. You can pay an additional $5 dollars a day to have (supposedly faster) wifi in your room but I didn't try this, I think this shouldn't be happening in 2016. The breakfast is ok but a little underwhelming. The only hot item they offered is scrambled eggs. I was hoping for something a little bit more substantial like bacon if I'm going to be climbing mountains like I did. All in all pretty good for the price I paid but if I had paid the rack rate I would not have been happy.

Excellent Value, Location, and Service
Excellent service and comfortable room. Located right between the train station and the river. Be sure to get a river view. Also close to bus station for Machu Picchu. Small fee for WiFi ($5 per day), but it was very strong and for two devices. Free breakfast buffet.

Very great location with new facility
This hotel is just a few minutes to the train station and very brand new. For me it is not a big issue for the noise of train but it may be. Except this, overall this hotel is very highly recommended and very cost effective.
