Good with a but
The hotel is big and there is access from parking to room. But the double rooms are small and the bed is small for 2 people. The hotel was busy and that showed during the breakfast where only three were trying to manage around 100 person. In short it was a chaos. The hot bath was OK, the temperature was nowhere near the announced 38°C. And the sauna was not as hot as it should be.

A great stay
Wow beautiful and unique hotel. Wish I had spent time in the hot tubs but our plans didn’t allow it. The glass hallways were genius for anyone lucky enough to view the northern lights. A word of caution, the tap water is scolding and the shower fluctuated on its own between cold warm and scolding… burning my girlfriend. I on the other hand felt the fluctuation but was lucky enough as the shower did not get hot enough to scold me. This hotel is gorgeous inside. The free breakfast was down right the best of all our travels in Iceland!

Good Spot for a Quick Nights Sleep
We stayed 1 night here and it was exactly what we expected. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Small bathroom but it was private. The shower was small for me and not really a full shower. It was 2 doors that swung out from the wall to form the shower. And the floor was just the bathroom floor with a drain. Strange but it worked. Restaurant food was ok, but not too expensive compared to other places. Breakfast was a pretty good spread.

Not a good experience
Booked this hotel after seeing good reviews. That was not our experience, however. Immediately felt unwelcome upon arrival, as the lady in reception seemed annoyed to check us in, but we all have bad days sometimes so just figured that was the case here. We needed to ask about towels for the hot tub a little while later and were met with the same unwelcoming attitude like we were annoying her for asking a simple question. The beds were very uncomfortable, having a hard perimeter that made it difficult to sleep on. Only one small trash bin in bathroom and none in room. Room was clean, so that's a positive. Would not stay here again or recommend.
