DO NOT STAY IN ROOM #8
He let us check in 4 hrs early :) Fell into room. Atleast a 2" drop off. 80's stuffed bunny, grandma's craft decor was hideous. Go to take shower, discover brown stained all over wash cloth. My only thoughts; poop or blood. Grossed out. Shower head appears to be taped to wall. One trash can in entire room is in bathroom. One outlet kinda near bed but charge cord does not reach. No ice machine & 1 tray in freezer. Husband & I nap while waiting for my sister who is meeting us there later. Queen bed seems smaller than our queen at home, very springy, but we manage. My sis calls on her way. I tell her be prepared, our room is hideous. She arrives, settles in, calls, says I'm crazy. I walk to her room, it's adorable & updated, big bed. I want to cry. I feel ripped off. I can't handle it. Take brown washcloth to the office. He says it's a makeup rag & sees nothing wrong with it. I tell him he should throw it away. No woman is using that on her face. It was not makeup if you ask me. I booked my room 2 months ago, my sister booked hers last week. I ask why did we get smaller bed for 2 people? He answers because I booked through expedia (it was actually hotels.com), and my sis called the Inn directly. I paid more too. Sitting on toilet you look at nasty pipes under sink. I have stayed at plenty of cheap hotels, & I'm not usually picky, but NO!!!!!! The pool was nice. The place might be okay, other than our room, but if you do stay here, make sure you request to NOT have room #8!!!!!
