Hotel Serenissima, Venice
Lodging in Venice
Hotel is in a small boutique hotel that is in a great location and walkable to all the attractions on the island many close by restaurants. Public water taxi is easy assessable. Rooms are small and quite plain but comfortable. My only drawback is that the hotel does not have an elevator, which can be a drawback if your room is on 3rd floor or above, but you can request to have your luggage delivered to the room and picked up from your room. Enjoyed the breakfast each morning and a nice variety to chose from.

Will stay here again when in Venice
The hotel is perfectly located in midway between the Rialto bridge and San Marco square, within walking of every place in Venice. The room was somewhat small, like most rooms in the center of Venice. Breakfast was very good. Be aware that there is no elevator. we stayed on the second floor, but there is also a third floor. The only complaint my wife had was that our room faced the narrow street so one could hear the passers by. Try to get a back room.

Nice, relaxing hotel in Venice
I stayed here for two nights and loved it! I booked a small room with a twin bed, and it was small but cozy and comfortable. The bathroom was quite tight and I would not recommend it for a larger person (I am 5' 6" and around 130 pounds and barely had room to get around - which is the main reason for my comfort rating). Other than that, the room was just what I needed, a warm shower and a comfy bed after a long flight! The included breakfast was delicious and had a nice variety and the front desk staff was very helpful. Make sure to print the map they send you on how to get there - it's a lifesaver as Venice is very confusing! It is very centrally located (about halfway between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square). If you take the Alilaguna water shuttle from the airport note you do NOT need to cross the Rialto bridge to get to the hotel as it drops you off on the same side of the canal your hotel is on. The WiFi worked well for my needs but probably would not support video streaming very well (I had to use Skype audio instead of video).
