Hotel Serenissima, Venice
Best for tourists looking for touristy things
Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room itself was very clean and substantial. Breakfast was excellent. There was a good variety of items to choose from. In terms of location, the hotel is perfect for tourists. It's a mere 5 minutes to the Rialto Bridge one way and 5 minutes to St. Mark's Square the other way. I would stay here again if I come back to Venice.

Hotel Serenissima, Venice
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Serenissima during our recent trip to Venice. The hotel is a short walk from Piazza San Marco, making the location convenient for sightseeing. The area is so beautiful and serene as the crowds thin out at night, and in the mornings before the tour groups start arriving; I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Venice. The front desk is staffed 24/7, so you can come and go as you please. The front desk staff was consistently helpful and pleasant, and provides a convenient bag drop if you arrive before your room is ready and on the day of your departure. Breakfast was truly delicious - probably the best breakfast we had during our stay. It is buffet-style with hot and cold options, eggs, fruit, pastries, cereal, juice, and coffee. The rooms are simple but clean with working air conditioning. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Hotel Serenissima and would love to return. The location and breakfast alone make it a great option for any travelers to Venice.

Lodging in Venice
Hotel is in a small boutique hotel that is in a great location and walkable to all the attractions on the island many close by restaurants. Public water taxi is easy assessable. Rooms are small and quite plain but comfortable. My only drawback is that the hotel does not have an elevator, which can be a drawback if your room is on 3rd floor or above, but you can request to have your luggage delivered to the room and picked up from your room. Enjoyed the breakfast each morning and a nice variety to chose from.

Will stay here again when in Venice
The hotel is perfectly located in midway between the Rialto bridge and San Marco square, within walking of every place in Venice. The room was somewhat small, like most rooms in the center of Venice. Breakfast was very good. Be aware that there is no elevator. we stayed on the second floor, but there is also a third floor. The only complaint my wife had was that our room faced the narrow street so one could hear the passers by. Try to get a back room.
