Exactly what we expected
We arrived late at night, slept and woke up and showered. It was perfect for that. I would recommend this motel for a short stay. The room was newly renovated and the bathroom was very large. The bed was quite uncomfortable.

Got the "bait-and-switch". But...
I asked for a non-smoking room. Called them about it. They told me, yes, sure, go ahead and book the room and put that in the notes, please. It's yours. Got there and got a 'take it or leave it' shrug. But the place was scrupulously clean, and quieter than you would think. No inside safety lock is weird but posed no problem to me. But, yeah - if you smoke, and don't mind it infused into the room, this place is good. If you don't smoke, or have breathing issues, maybe not so much. But it was better than I thought it would be, truthfully. Definitely clean.

Not as advertised
This “hotel” omits pictures of the outside and lobby for a reason. It is a motel in a sketchy part of town. When we arrived several rooms had doors propped open and men were walking around the outside without shirts on. I was traveling with my family and did not feel safe staying in the hotel. I called but when they called the hotel they were unwilling to waive the 24 hour cancellation policy. I went to the desk to ask about canceling as I was traveling with an 18 month old and said I don’t feel the hotel was family friendly. The girl at the desk assured me the hotel was safe and that I shouldn’t worry. She however was sitting behind bullet proof glass, which is also not shown in the photos. She said she would have considered waiving the policy if it was earlier in the day (so the 24 hours isn’t written in stone) but it was 7:00 so she would have to charge me for the night. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone and certainly not for a family. I was very disappointed with the “hotel” and I won’t be booking with either ever again.

Good for Formula 1 weekend
We spent 4 days for Formula 1 weekend, the exterior appearance and the immediate vicinity looked a bit sketchy but the room was clean and looked newly renovated There is no breakfast available but there is a fridge and microwave in the room. We walked about 10 minutes or less to a grocery store up the street and stock up on some food items. We used the Metro to travel back and forth the stops were located right in front of the Motel, took about 20 minutes via bus and subway to get downtown to where all the action was. Despite the look of the area we felt rather safe even when returning late at night. All and all it was a good stay at a good price for a formula 1 weekend.
