The Aussie Settler Motel is a decent budget choice for a stay in Queanbeyan/Canberra.
The room came equipped with a good range of kitchen accessories - fridge, microwave, electric kettle, bowls, plates and cutlery.
The room was spacious and came equipped with a table and chairs.
The room was tolerably clean - although you will probably want to wash any cutlery before use and give the table and bench a wipe over.
The beds were comfortable.
(I didn't use the television or AC, so I have no comment on them).
The wifi wasn't functional during my stay.
While I stayed in a room away from the highway, some road noise still penetrated the room. Rooms closer to the highway may face even more road noise.
When I went to pay with cash at check-in, I was told that I couldn't pay that way - the amount would be deducted from the credit card that I has used to book with. It would have been useful to know that in advance.
